Custom Transparency Chart
Product Description
Size estimation charts are for accurately measuring spots, inclusions, and defects on different textile surfaces paper, plastic, etc. Useful in many industries including medical, aviation, printing, optometry and others for quick identification of defects for quality control.
Pricing is per chart, sizing up to 6" x 6". For larger sizes, please contact customerservice@ryanqc.com for a custom quote.
Redundant printing or perforated lines are not permitted.

Calibration quotes available upon request.
Imaging:
Charts are first generation for increased accuracy. Imaged at 4000 DPI or greater.
Material:
Fuji .007 polyester dimensionally stable lithographic film.
Calibration (not certified):
A densitometer is used to calibrate the imaging equipment. A Bishop Certified glass scale and an Edmund Scientific 60 power microscope to measure each stated feature.
Accuracy:
We guarantee the film when manufactured is accurate at the following specifications.
DMIN:0.08 or less
DMAX: 4.0 or greater
Line Width <.0004 of original feature with Geometric and Scaling Accuracy: +/-.0025” over 24”
Accuracy at your facility may be affected by storage and handling, please see below.
Handling and Storage:
Manufactured with photographic film. The features are photographic emulsion which is subject to scratching and damage by abrasion.
Inspect your charts visually for physical damage prior to each use. Charts should be replaced every two years. Store in a dust proof package. Storage in extreme temperature or humidity settings may affect accuracy. Recommended storage at 70 degrees and <50% rh.
Checked for accuracy with a 50 power microscope. Measurements are confirmed using a scale that measures in half thousandth increments, to a tolerance of half a millimeter.
Sizing
Size limitations are 36" x 24" images on single films, and tooled and tiled films as large as 64" x 144" with an accuracy division of less than .005" per film.
